Franchising
Franchising is a partnership-based distribution system between an existing company - that is the franchisor - and a (new) entrepreneur - that is the franchisee. The franchisee takes over the franchisor's already existing and functioning business model and pays a one-time or regular fee to the franchisor for the right to use the model.
Functional criteria
Functional criteria or requirements describe what a product or system should do (example: an online store system should be able to display the shopping cart to the customer). For a successful project completion it is important to articulate and document all requirements of the client.
