Customer touchpoints are the points of contact between the customer and the company. Every moment when a potential customer comes into contact with a product or service, directly or indirectly, is a customer touchpoint. Possible customer touchpoints include, for example, all types of advertising, recommendations, reviews, press reports, any direct contact in the store or on the phone, etc. The customer journey describes all of a customer's touchpoints up to the point of purchase.
